Donald I Deserve Video

The love I Know I deserve - He Simply calls himself Donald, and he has dropped a song and a half.
It is my favorite song right now, and I just think it is so beautiful. I am a sucker for love and I have not been so sucked into the R'n B in South Africa, but this song hit me really deep.

Before you bite my head off, I am saying R 'n B because of the tone and lyrics of the song, but I understand that there is also some house elements to it, because of the beat. Whatever it is, I love it and I must say Donald has a very beautiful voice.

I hope you love it as much as I do! I will continue supporting him forever!

Bonang Matheba in Top Billing

Bonang Matheba in SABC Top Show SABC 3 - You know you have made it if you get featured in Top Billing, and there is no doubt that she has.

She has presented Live for the last couple years, she has endorsements, she has her own radio show, she is pushing her own businesses and she is totally in demand. It is clear why people want her involved in what they do.

Being in the media like she is, sometimes people will want to focus on the not so amazing things that are happening in her life, like the issue with her boyfriend or ex boyfriend DJ Euphonik and the allegations that he physically abused her.

Whatever is going on in her personal life, Bonang Matheba is shining. she is an inspiration to many including me, and the fact that she is getting success so early on is just testament that the sky is the limit.

Something tells me that her star is just going to continue to shine and that she is going to go far. We will continue following her.

Bernard Parker Weds His Bride Wendy cherry

Kaizer Chief's Bernard Parker is officially no longer a free man! A couple of years back, he found his soul mate in Wendy Cherry and he has finally said I do.The wedding happened in Ballito in the Kwazulu Natal area, and considering how beautiful Ballito is, you better believe it when I say the wedding was absolutely beautiful.

There is no doubt, Bernard Parker looks dashing!

Oh but the bride is pretty stunning herself also!

I love the classic jaquar , it truly was a fairytale!

What a beautiful couple!

Looks like it's a match made in heaven!
There is no doubt, the look good together, and they sure look very happy.

Lets treat you with a picture of the couple together, wow!

We sure wish Bernard Parker and Wendy Cherry all the best in their marriage.

Theo Kgosinkwe as a Dad and a Husband

Picture taken from drum magazine

The spotlight is on Theo Kgosinkwe and he does not disappoint. He is undoubtedly one of south Africa's brightest stars when it comes to the music industry, but he is so much more than that.

He is a father and he is a husband. I literally fell in love with him and his children, as I looked at pictures of them in the June issue of Drum. As you can imagine the demands of a career in music take him away from home and from his two angels and his wife, finding that quality to time to spend with his family is something that is very important to him.

Besides his commitment to his family, I love that He acknowledges the role that God plays in His life.It is clear how blessed he is, it is clear the kind the contribution that he is making to the music industry  but what is also important is for him to teach his children the values they need to be great representatives of South Africa one day.

This is role that Theo Kgosinkwe takes seriously, and I love that a black brother takes his role as father and husband seriously. He has beautiful children and I am sure he will continue being the great dad that he is.

We wish him all the best in all his roles.

Khanyi Mbau Goes under the Knife Again

Khanyi Mbau, the queen of bling is seen as one of the most beautiful women in South Africa, and looking at her it is clear to see why.

Some may argue that it is not natural beauty, that it is beauty that only those who can afford have the luxury of having. Frankly, I don't think she cares what the rest of us think.

At only 27, Khanyi Mbau has been under the knife 8 times. Recently, she has just had a skin rejuvenation treatment, which is supposed to lift the skin and give it a great glow. What the procedure does is to remove the top skin layer to expose the beautiful skin underneath that has not been damaged.

To top that, she also had a botox done, in her forehead, to make all those lines starting to show to disappear. It does not end there, she also had a nose job as well as a cheek job. It is really a wonder what money can buy.

Natural beauty or not, the procedure did exactly what it was supposed to do, because she looks hot as ever. Check back in quickly, we will keep you posted.

Nhlanhla Nciza Becomes a Mom Again

Nhlanhla Nciza and her husband TK have been blessed with a new bundle of joy. It is a baby boy called Luvuyo, who came into the world on the 14 June 2012. After the tragedy that they have experienced and gone through, when they lost their little girl Zinathi, one can only smile at this beautiful news.

Also, you can also imagine the happiness that they are experiencing at the arrival of this bundle of joy. Luvuyo means "our joy" and they are extremely excited about this great news. Friends and family welcomed the news when they got communication about the baby, and how healthy

We all get excited about the thought of new babies, but, we all should just allow Nhlanhla and TK to enjoy the baby, and when they are ready they will share their baby with the world.

We sure hope Luvuyo continues to be healthy and grow into a healthy boy and bring a lot of joy to his parents. We wish her Nhlanhla Nciza and TK Nciza the the very best.

Gareth Cliff Finds His Black Queen

Gareth Cliff is said to be in love, with Dimakatso Miemie Seleka who hails from the North West. They are said to be dating and are said to be very much in love with each other.  Ooh I am a sucker for love so this makes me smile to no end!

In fact it gets more exciting! Dimakatso is said to be pregnant, which means Gareth will be a daddy soon. Yes, this is not a new relationship, it is almost a two year old relationship. Speculation ended of whether the two were dating after Gareth Cliff said on air that he was dating someone from the "bundus".

It is very clear that she knows him intimately, because she even knows hi middle name, Rydal. She was definitely not impressed that the press knows about her and Cliff, but it is something that was going to come out sooner or later.

She is no where close to being in the radio or the TV industry, which makes me wonder where they met. She is said to be in the sciences, with a qualification in IT. She is quite impressive actually, as she is said to be a director of some engineering partner. For someone so young at 24, that is definitely impressive.

Anyway, not everyone is going to be excited about their relationship, but as I said I am a sucker for love, so I wish them all the best.

Kaizer Motaung Jnr weds

KAIZER Chiefs striker Kaizer Motaung Jnr has found the love of his life, in  German Queen.

Kaizer Motaung Jnr and Cathrine Heider have a child together. Picture by courtesy of Sunday World.

They sure look great together. I can just imagine all the disappointed women out there, who were secretly hoping that he could be with them or that they could have a chance. Sorry to break it to you, but Kaizer is taken ladies!

They have been blessed with a son, what could be more amazing than that.

Well, they are about to tie the knot, in fact in the time of writing this, they are already man and wife. Unfortunately, it has been difficult thus far to get pictures of the wedding.

For those of who who do not know, they have been together for a long time. They have been engaged for two years now, and they met in early 2000's. considering that this is 2012, it is indeed a long time since they met, and have been nurturing their relationship ever since.

It is really amazing to know that they have been together for a long time, and have made their relationship work.

As the family and friends flew overseas, we only hope that the wedding was as beautiful as they wanted it to be. As soon as we get hold of the wedding pics, we will post them here, so stay tuned!

Idols South Africa 2012

I am sure you are already aware that the Idols SA Eight season is well underway, as it started on the 3rd June.

As I write this, on the 17 June, the auditions are being held at Cape Town at the Table Bay Hotel. Of course, the Johannesburg and the Durban auditions have already happened and those who have gotten the golden tickets have been made very happy.

The judges, Unathi Msengana, Gareth Cliff and Randal Abrahams have a hard job to do, as there are so many talented people who have come through already, so I am sure Cape Town also has something special on offer. I am sure you cannot wait to see the talent that was found in Cape Town, but you will have to wait a bit longer, because you can see the highlights only on the 24 June 2011.

It is going to be more interesting as more eliminations are being made, as more hearts get broken and dreams seem like they are going to come true.Thousands of people have entered the competition, hoping to strike it big, hoping to be the next big thing. Yes, when it is like this, there is bound to be a lot of tears, and there is bound to be emotions running high and of course disappointments.

A golden ticket is what everyone is gunning for, but only very few can taste it, and have a chance at making their dreams come true.

There is no doubt, it is very entertaining and it can be sad though to see dreams being thrashed. Keep watching Idols, as you too can find your favorite performer.

Toya Delazy Due Drop

I don't know about you but I love Toya Delazy. She is one talented soul and her music is a breath of fresh air.

Yes, I am sure that sounds like a cliche, but that is exactly how I feel about it.The very first time I listened to her song, I was hooked, I just sat there and listened, because honestly I just had to hear who she was. That time, I had no clue who she was, or whether she was even South African. It was that very day, that she blew me away!

Her first studio album called Due South has dropped, and let me just say, that if you do not have it, you really should get it. Let me just say, that every song is worth listening to in the album, which makes it a great investment. Every song will say something to you, so if you listen good, you will take something from it.

I have to say that in South Africa, where most people are focused on kwaito, gospel and hip hop, it was nice to see someone breaking away from that. I am in no way dissing anything, I am just saying that it was nice to see someone not try to fit into something popular, that most people are doing.  She did her own thing, and I am so glad because she is so good at it.

Her style is so unique, you will fall in love with it. Want a snippet of the album, here is the track list:

Intro (with you)
Are You Gonna Stay?
Heart
Yeah Yeah Yeah (With You)
Love Is In The Air
Memoriam
Pump It On
Love Takes Time
It’s All Good
Jai Lover
Say It Out

Go get it, you will not be disappointed!

South African Artists and celebrities

Welcome to South African Artists and celebrities. This blog is dedicated entirely to them , the good, the bad and the ugly.

Of course I am a sucker for positiveness, so that will be the main focus of this blog, to be able to see artists as people who are humans and who make mistakes. The issue will not be to zoom in on their bad things that they do, but rather on the good things that they contribute to.

If they make mistakes, who cares. They are humans and i think we all deserve a second chance. Anyways, some people that you are going to read about here are one of my favorites, such as L Tido, Khuli Chana, Da Les, Bongani Fassie, Bonang Matheba, Minnie Dlamini, Dj Fresh, T Bo Touch, DJ Tira, AKA, Nonhle Thema, Thomas Gumede, Lungile Radu, Siyabonga Ngwekazi, David Tlale, Kenny Kunene, Unathi Msengana, Slikour, DJ Euphonik, Khanyi Mbau, Jub Jub, Kelly Khumalo, Dj Sbu, Zhara and much more.

Just be on the look out for that, and if you have things that you want to share, do let us know.
